Guided wine tasting, cooking lessons and wine tours in Tuscany

Our project was born on 1980. Just after a master in Philosophy, Moradei Andrea founded in collaboration with other teachers the Italian language and culture centre for foreigners Koinè. In 1996 we opened the Enoteca de’ Giraldi, offering a cultural approach to Tuscan wine and food. In 2003 we opened the wine and food services agency Vinarium, with the aim of offering the best of our wine and food culture. Today Vinarium offers guided wine tasting in the best Florentine enotecas, cooking lessons in historical buildings and guided visits to the best Tuscan wine makers.

Wine tastings

1. Group wine tastings at the Enoteca: on Mondays group guided wine tasting about the tuscan

white wines, on Wednesdays group guided wine tasting about the tuscan red wines from 4:oopm to 6:oopm, starting from the tasting of 3 wines, introduction to the sensorial analysis, the tuscan grapes, the work in cellar.

2. Private guided wine tastings at the Enoteca or at your location, same program as the group wine tasting, but you can choose the wines, the time schedule, the day and the location.

3. Private guided wine tasting about the best tuscan wines: from the Brunello to the Flaccianello,a fantastic guided trip among the stars of the tuscan wine production.

4. Private wine tour to Montalcino and guided wine tasting in the
Poggione's cellar in S.Angelo in Colle. The secrets of one of the best Montalcino wine
makers offered to your eyes and mouths.

Cooking lessons

1. Group cooking lesson every Tuesday and Thursday. You begin to work at 3.30pm at Palazzo Galli Tassi in via Pandolfini n. 20, at 7.oo you have a dinner served with the products of your work and the right wines. The price per lesson per participant is 55,oo Euro

3. Residential cooking course in Maremma. One week in Concetta's House by the sea in the south Tuscany discovering the secrets of the traditional tuscan cookery.

4. Bread, wine and language. Two weeks program in Florence or Lucca with Italian language lessons in the morning (optional) and guided wine tastings, cooking lessons and wine tours in the afternoon and during the week-end.

The Other Tuscany

It is quite incredible, but a minor and hidden Tuscany still exist. Even in downtown Florence one hundred meters far from the touristy flow, you can find artisans, shops, museums quite completely unknown. These are short group programs offered every week, each program on a particular day of the week, including an English speaking guide and lunch.
